Remembering a friend and supporter of SRTA

 

With heavy hearts, SRTA remembers the life and contributions of Life Member and Island Steward, Ed Griegel.  Ed was the long time Steward of Island 121 and one of the first SRTA Life Members.  With his office along the banks of the Susquehanna, Ed was always quick to volunteer to care for other islands located along the northern stretch of the Trail.

 

Through his executive position with Sunbury Generation, Ed championed SRTA as a beneficiary of his company’s annual charity golf outing.  Even in the afterlife, Ed is looking out for our organization – in lieu of flowers from his friends and family, he asked that donations be made to the SRTA.

 

Ed, you will be missed but your spirit lives on through the good work we will continue to do in your memory.
